Dimitar Tsotsorkov
Dimitar holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Computing Economics from Richmond University in London and a Master’s degree in Information Management and Finance from the University of Westminster. He has completed executive education at IMD Lausanne, as well as numerous additional professional and academic specialization programs. He is fluent in English, Russian, and German.
Dimitar has extensive experience in mining, investment, and international trade. He leads all of Asarel-Medet’s newly launched mining projects in Bulgaria, the largest of which involves investments exceeding EUR 60 million and the direct and indirect engagement of more than 2,400 professionals. He manages the company’s investment portfolio across sectors including tourism, healthcare, logistics, high technology, and others, as well as Asarel’s annual competition for innovative projects.
As a founder and member of the Management Board of the Lachezar Tsotsorkov Foundation,
Dimitar strongly believes in the principles of philanthropy and is actively committed to its revival
in Bulgaria.
