Irina Stoeva
Irina Stoeva holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accounting from the University of National and World Economy. Early in her career, she worked in accounting firms, gaining hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting services for companies across a wide range of business sectors. Five years later, she transitioned to corporate finance, taking on various roles at large international companies. Working with people from different countries and cultures deepened not only her financial and accounting expertise but also built a strong profile in process structuring, migration, and optimization.
Alongside her primary work, Irina actively participated in corporate social responsibility initiatives, joining teams focused on increasing employees’ engagement with civic causes, charitable giving, and volunteering. Gradually, these activities became the main driver of her shift toward the civil society sector.
At the Foundation, Irina holds the position of Expert, Programs and Projects, where she is developing a new program area. In this role, she combines her analytical mindset and process management experience with her deep interest in civic engagement and philanthropy in Bulgaria.
